You will also be required to attend lectures which are an Introduction to Automation Engineering. These lectures will cover the different aspects of modern components of automation engineering, control engineering and complex production cell discussion.
The main studies will include classes on Real-time Operating Systems, Production Cells, Robotics, Modeling and Simulation, Communication Nets and Digital Signal Processing. During the practical semester, you will be required to expand on the knowledge you have gained during your studies. You will work for an engineering office or company. The practical semester will go into topics like Industrial Controls and Robotics in great depth.

Once you have gained your qualifications and work experience, you will be ready for an automation engineering job at a reputable company. You will be qualified to work in a host of different fields including Environmental Engineering, Medical Engineering or within the Industrial Automation industry.
